Come and Sing Duruflé: Requiem
Winchester Music Club was pleased to present the opportunity to sing Duruflé: Requiem in Winchester College Music School under the direction one of the world’s leading church musicians.
The event was led by Malcolm Archer who is Director of Chapel Music at Winchester College and is much in demand as a choir trainer as well as a choral and orchestral conductor. He is also a composer of many published works, an international organ recitalist and Musical Director of the Jean Langlais Festival in France.
Our soloist was Edmund Saddington who was a lay clerk in Winchester Cathedral Choir from 2010 to 2015 and is now a permanent member of the choir of the Chapels Royal, HM Tower of London.
NOTE: This event will now start at 09:30 and Malcolm Archer will direct the whole event from the piano in the Music School Hall. (Winchester College Chapel will NOT be used.)
