13th April - Salisbury Musical Society will be performing Mozart's C Minor Mass (The Great) and Bach Cantata BWV182 in Salisbury Cathedral at 7.30pm. Conducted by David Halls and accompanied by the excellent Chelsea Opera Group Orchestra.
13th April - Hook Choral Society will be performing Haydn Harmonimesse, Britten Rejoice in the Lamb, and 3 pieces by Howard Goodall in All Saints Church, Odiham at 7:30pm. Tickets £12 available from http://www.hookchoralsociety.org.uk.
27th April - Songs of Mourning, Songs of Faith and Joy:Dowland, Coprario, Campion, Ailsa Dixon. Emily Gray, mezzo soprano, Gerard Cousins, guitar at St Bartholomew’s Church, Winchester at 3.00pm. Concert to be followed by tea and cake. Tickets £10 from Winchester cathedral box office 01962 857275.
28th April - Martin Read Festival - COME AND SING in Martin Read Hall, Alton College, Edward Road entrance, Alton, Hampshire GU34 2UH. Timings: For participants: 10am. For audience: from 2.30pm, festival concert 5.30pm, ending by 8pm. Bring a picnic. Bar available. Further information and tickets.
11th May - Andover Choral Society present Mozart Requiem in St Mary's Church, Andover, SP10 1DP at 7:30pm. Tickets £12, available from the choir on 01264 396511, or from The Lights on 01264 368368 and at www.thelights.org.uk.
22nd June - The Virtuoso Cello: Nova Foresta Classical Players' evening of sparkling virtuosity, featuring international cellist Lionel Handy in Romsey Abbey at 7:30pm. Tickets are £18 from www.ticketsource.co.uk.
25th May - WMC Come and Sing Day - in Winchester College Music School, Culver Road, Winchester. Registration at 10:00am, rehearsal starts 10:30am and performance at 4:00pm. Details to be confirmed.
14th November - Winchester Music Club Duruflé Requiem and Bernstein Chichester Psalms - in Winchester Cathedral, at 7:30pm.
